Design System Development

Four product designers from three different product areas worked together to outline global and product specific design standards.

Foundations

Working as a team, we each owned a portion of the design system foundations. I was responsible for creating a global grid system and establishing the color palette.

Product Area Specific

I was responsible for aligning and documenting all components that were specific to the datasheets and mouse search product areas to the new design standards.

This involved updating unique buttons and the top toolbar.

Implementation

I worked with the development team to refine and implement these design changes to our products. We met over a series meetings and working sessions to align on the design system changes.
